Job Title: Global Mobility Specialist
Reports to: Group of Head Reward

JOB SUMMARY
A permanent full-time role has become available as part of the Ornua Rewards team in our Human Resources function. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual skilled in global mobility to support a mobile global employee population. The role will have responsibility for managing the day to day operations of the Ornua Global Mobility Program, including short and long-term assignments, permanent relocations, commuters, graduates and business travel. The successful candidates will have a passion for global mobility, tax, compliance, problem solving and driving business performance.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working in Global Mobility and Tax. Experience working in HR would be desirable but not essential. The role will work collaboratively with global HR colleagues to deliver best in class support to all key stakeholders, including senior executives.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage the day to day operations of the global mobility program, including:
- Coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate set up and payment
- Coordinating visa / immigration process
- Preparing and filing necessary paperwork and applications
- Coordinating employee and family relocations
- Coordinating benefits, including pensions, in Home and Host locations
- Working with local HR to ensure smooth transition for employee and family in new work location
- Responding to queries from assignees and other stakeholders.
- Support annual salary review and bonus process for all assignees
- Prepare total cost and individual compensation summaries for each assignment and liaise with management on finalising and agreeing compensation and relocation packages.
- Ensure compliance from individual tax, immigration and corporate risk perspective for global assignments.
- Prepare, maintain and update communications for assignees including materials to assist with relocating to a new location.
- Provide regular reporting on the Global Mobility program.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of mobility related issues of the Ornua Graduate Programme.
- Review, update and ensure adherence to the Ornua global mobility policy.
- Drive improvements and enhancements to the Global Mobility program.
- Keep up to date with global tax and immigration requirements.
- Support ad hoc global mobility and other related Reward projects.

- Prepare and coordinate payroll for all assignees including shadow payrolls, where required.
- Support and coordinate with Ornua Payroll, Finance and Tax departments and external tax advisors to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements related to global mobility and business travel in each jurisdiction.
- Coordinate filing of employee tax returns where required.
- Plan for and manage employee repatriation process at the end of the assignment.
- Manage and liaise with external service providers including payroll providers, global mobility data providers, relocation companies and tax advisors.
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- 3rd level qualification in Tax / Accounting / Business
- 4+ years work experience in Mobility or Tax.
- Big 4 Company and/or in-house multinational company HR experience will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of tax, immigration, HR, contract and legal issues.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- High level Microsoft Office product suite skills, in particular Excel
- Knowledge of global mobility products and service providers.
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Have a high level of precision and accuracy.
- Exposure to HR processes and projects desirable
